Heartland Festival is ready with five new musical acts for 2026!

4 Non Blondes play Heartland Festival 2026 in Denmark

Heartland is adding another five musical acts to its summer music program – 4 NON BLONDES, LP, MANIC STREET PREACHERS, GULDIMUND and SNAIL MAIL, all of whom can be experienced when Heartland marks its 10th anniversary at on Midtfyn on 18th – 20th June.

After more than 30 years of waiting, 4 NON BLONDES will finally return to Denmark when they visit Heartland this summer, where you can look forward to hearing their big breakthrough hit “What’s Up”.

I am very pleased that we have been given the opportunity to host the festival for 4 Non Blondes’ first concert in Denmark in more than 30 years. The fact that we can also add four more strong and versatile artists to this year’s music program – from one of Britain’s most iconic rock bands in Manic Street Preachers to some of the most interesting artists of our time in LP, Guldimund and Snail Mail – is just the icing on the cake. I look forward to unveiling the rest of this year’s program and not least to seeing a lot of happy guests at Heartland this summer! – Ulrik Ørum-Petersen, Festival director and music manager

Leader Linda Perry, bassist Christa Hillhouse, drummer Dawn Richardson and guitarist Roger Rocha came together as 4 NON BLONDES in 1989. In 1992 they released the album Bigger, Better, Faster, More? and the following year they burst onto the charts in 1993 with the mega-hit “What’s Up?” – a hit that still gets airplay today and as recently as 2024 had surpassed one billion streams on Spotify.

However, the breakthrough was short-lived, as Linda Perry chose to leave the quartet not long after to pursue a solo career. Perry has had the most success as a producer and songwriter for, among others, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Pink and Gwen Stefani.

4 NON BLONDES got together briefly again in 2024, where they played a single concert before announcing a major US tour in 2025. This summer, the time has finally come for the group, which has toured with world stars such as Aerosmith, Neil Young and Pearl Jam, to give its first concert in Denmark since 1994, when 4 NON BLONDES take over Greenfield on Friday, June 19.

With the help of a powerful vocal, genre-bending attitude and a sharp sense of songwriting that transforms emotions into strong pop choruses, American LP has become one of the most admired singer/songwriters of her generation. LP’s career exploded with the hit “Lost On You” in 2017, where the heartbreaking folk ballad went #1 in 18 countries. Overall, LP’s back catalogue has achieved more than 3 billion streams worldwide and is filled with broadly embracing anthems about transformative love and self-discovery that capture the complexity of humanity seen through LP’s eyes.

With their unique talent, twinkle in their eye and introspective depth, LP sees songwriting as their calling in life, and in addition to their own music, they have written songs for artists such as Rihanna, Backstreet Boys and Céline Dion. This summer, however, they will stand on their own two feet when LP plays their first concert on Saturday at Heartland.

MANIC STREET PREACHERS is one of the most influential and iconic rock bands from Wales. Throughout their career, they have released 15 studio albums, most recently Critical Thinking in 2025, headlined several festivals, including Glastonbury, and received countless awards.

Their debut album Generation Terrorists, released in February 1992, established them as a unique band that combines classic rock riffs with the attitude of pop and punk and a lyricism that was far ahead of their time. Over the years, they have explored different branches of music and won fans all over the world, while at the same time managing to maintain the classic Manic sound. At their concerts, early numbers like “You Love Us” and “Motorcycle Emptiness” effortlessly stand side by side with big hits like “If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next”, “You Stole The Sun From My Heart” and newer songs like “International Blue” and “Orwellian”.

So the audience can look forward to hits from the entire MANIC STREET PREACHERS’ impressive back catalogue when the rock band visits Heartland for the first time on Friday, June 19.

In just a few years, GULDIMUND has established himself as one of Denmark’s most beloved and honest songwriters. With his unique ability to unite the intimate and the magnificent, the beautiful and the painful, he has created a musical universe that deeply touches the audience. Since the award-winning debut album Dem Vi Plejede At Være (2021), GULDIMUND has been one of the most distinctive voices in Danish music.

With songs like “Møns Klint”, “Forstår du?” and “You didn’t choose each other” GULDIMUND writes about the light and darkness of love, about faith, doubt and finding a foothold as a person and a father. It is music that dares to be both vulnerable and strong, and that feels deeply personal for both artist and audience.

On Heartland, GULDIMUND brings new material and aje album in collaboration with Saveus, among others. The single “Vil du noget?” is the first taste, and the audience at Heartland can look forward to Guldimund’s special mix of intensity, humor and humanity when he visits the festival for the second time this summer – this time at Greenfield on Saturday, June 20.

On her third studio album Ricochet, which will be released on March 27, Lindsey Jordan, the woman behind SNAIL MAIL, returns to solidify her position as a generation-defining songwriter – just as clear-sighted and honest as ever. Time has passed, but she is still a sensitive soul, and here her sharp introspection is linked with new, expansive and hypnotic melodies and ornate string arrangements.

Where SNAIL MAIL’s early releases were largely about matters of the heart, she attempts to move beyond that on the new album, which is about being caught in a vortex of anxiety as life slips through your fingers, and the vulnerability of loving deeply rather than frantically. Ultimately, the album is about realizing – and accepting – that the world still turns, no matter what’s going on in your own little life.

This summer, Heartland audiences will have the opportunity to join this both heartfelt and loving vortex when SNAIL MAIL plays the festival for the first time on Friday, June 19th at Highland.
