A warm Welsh welcome to your headliners, who are all topping the Green Man bill for the first time this 14th – 17th August!
Organisers are over the moon to welcome UNDERWORLD to the line-up, the Cardiff formed dance music pioneers are set to bring their techno mastery to the mountains! Joining them is WET LEG, the inimitable indie duo delivered a standout set in their very early days at Green Man 2021 – and this year they return for a spectacular headline performance.
And they are absolutely overjoyed to announce BETH GIBBONS, a rare spellbinding solo performance from the esteemed songwriter and Portishead founding member. Seminal guitar heroes TV ON THE RADIO will keep the energy rolling in a triumph of a Mountain Stage set, plus, the bombastic and brilliant KNEECAP will light up the Far Out tent on Thursday night.
And from across the pond, MJ LENDERMAN AND THE WIND, the North Carolina rocker and his band will perform tracks from cult hit LP ‘Manning Fireworks’ in a UK festival exclusive. A generational talent and queer trailblazer, PERFUME GENIUS will bring his rich, euphoric pop to Green Man. It’s incredibly special to be hosting country-pop icon CMAT, while Mercury Prize 2024 winners ENGLISH TEACHER will also take to the stage. The latter first appeared on the Rising Stage in 2022, and have since gone on to become a leading light in the UK guitar scene.
A myriad of fresh new names are poised to make star-cementing moments. The likes of ROCKET, RIP MAGIC, JACOB ALON, FRIKO and YHWH NAILGUN will be making their maiden trip to Wales. We’ll be welcoming familiar folk back to our fields, too. LOS CAMPESINOS! will find a fitting backdrop in Bannau Brycheiniog’s dappled peaks, while more moments of communal joy will arrive in the form of PANDA BEAR’s cosmic catharsis. JUST MUSTARD, meanwhile, shall be ready to dispatch their shoegaze odysseys beneath a summer’s sky.
Plus, Welsh dance supernovas KELLY LEE OWENS, HIGH CONTRAST and DON LEISURE promise to awaken the senses with their late-night thrills, not to mention DOVE – an alias of electronic music duo Bicep – who’ll be taking things to a stratospheric level.
