FIRST ARTIST RELEASE FOR TONS OF ROCK – GREEN DAY!
Festival organisers are insanely proud to present GREEN DAY as the first headliner for Tons of Rock 2025 where the band will play on Thursday 26 June!
One of the world’s biggest bands has been confirmed for Tons of Rock. The legendary band played a central role in bringing rock to a wider audience and revitalizing the genre in the 90s. Now they bring their huge hits to Ekebergsletta and Tons of Rock for an exclusive concert next summer. With Green Day as the first headliner, the festival turns up the volume for next year’s festival summer.
GREEN DAY are known for their energetic live performances in large arenas and iconic songs such as “American Idiot”, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Basket Case” from an impressive catalog. The band has billions of streams and a growing base of millions of fans of all ages.
