FOO FIGHTERS arrive at Passeio Marítimo de Algés to perform on July 10th at NOS Alive’26, on the NOS Stage. This is the grand return of one of the most anticipated bands by the Portuguese public.
“Take Cover, UK and Europe…” – the greatest ambassadors of American rock are preparing to invade the United Kingdom and Europe in the summer of 2026 with the Take Cover Tour. Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin will bring their unforgettable anthems and contagious energy to the biggest stadiums, arenas and festivals in 10 European countries, and will finish in Portugal, at NOS Alive, on July 10th.
Following the release of their new single “Asking for a Friend”, the Take Cover Tour 2026 marks FOO FIGHTERS first return to Europe and the UK since their massive 2024 Everything or Nothing at All Tour — a series of triumphant shows that The Guardian described as “breathtakingly intense”, and the Evening Standard hailed, stating that the band remains “the undisputed kings of stadium rock”.
On July 10th, FOO FIGHTERS will take to the NOS Stage at the 18th edition of NOS Alive for a show that is sure to be one of the most special of 2026.
The legendary band DOGSTAR, composed of Bret Domrose (vocals and guitar), Robert Mailhouse (drums), and Keanu Reeves (bass), will perform for the first time on July 9th at the Heineken Stage of NOS Alive.
Originally formed in 1991 in California, DOGSTAR was born from the friendship and passion for music between three artists who started playing together in a garage and quickly won fans for their authentic sound and soulful stories.
After more than two decades away from the stage, the trio returned in 2023 with the album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, released by their own label Dillon Street Records (with distribution by ADA). The album represents the Californian spirit of the band and marks a new chapter in their musical journey, with songs that reflect maturity, energy, and emotion.
DOGSTAR’s official return took place at BottleRock Napa Valley in May 2023, the group’s first live performance in over 20 years, receiving acclaim from fans and critics alike. The show included the premiere of the single “Everything Turns Around,” officially released on July 19.
Since then, the band has toured the United States with the Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour, which includes more than 25 dates and is now coming to Europe, with a confirmed stop at NOS Alive.
Portuguese fans will finally be able to witness DOGSTAR’s powerful stage presence in an unmissable show that promises to be one of the most memorable moments of NOS Alive 2026.
