This five-piece from Dublin, fronted by the charismatic Grian Chatten, will show Pohoda 2025 why they’re considered one of the most compelling and in-demand guitar bands of today.
FONTAINES D.C. is one of the few young guitar bands with the ability to sell out ten-thousand-seat arenas and headline major festivals, as they did at this year’s Glastonbury. Known for their gritty punk sound and thought-provoking lyrics, they’re not confined to any single genre, mixing elements of rock, Britpop, and even touches of hip-hop, nu-metal, and Irish folk. Their lyrics are intensely personal since the band is not afraid to talk about their own feelings. With concerts charged with energy, passion, and boldness, Fontaines D.C. stands out as one of the most original and interesting bands of our time. NME describes them as the “defining voice of their generation,” while Elton John calls them “the best band around right now.”
