San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park is preparing to transform into a hazy, eucalyptus-scented wonderland once again this August. Outside Lands has officially pulled back the curtain on its 2026 daily schedules, and the sheer breadth of the bill is enough to make any music lover start checking flight prices. From British pop royalty to indie-rock legends and immersive electronic soundscapes, the 18th edition is leaning into its reputation as one of the most eclectic festivals in the world.
A MASTERCLASS IN CURATION
The weekend kicks off on Friday, 7th August, with a headline set from the three-time Grammy winner and global pop pioneer CHARLI XCX. It’s a landmark debut for her at the park, and with the “futurist pop” wave at its peak, her set is set to be one of the festival’s most talked-about moments. Friday isn’t just a pop affair, though; the energy will be dialled up by the visceral punk of TURNSTILE, a rare bass-heavy collaborative set from GRIZTRONICS (Subtronics and GRiZ), and the soulful, cinematic sounds of LABRINTH.
Saturday, 8th August, brings a change in tempo as indie-rock heavyweights THE STROKES return to San Francisco for what promises to be a masterclass in New York cool. They are joined by the atmospheric, brooding melodies of THE XX and the kaleidoscopic alt-pop of DJO.
The Saturday bill also features the festival’s most recent and arguably most exciting late addition: PINKPANTHERESS. After her track “Stateside” dominated the global charts and even soundtracked moments at the Winter Olympics, the British singer-songwriter is bringing her signature blend of drum and bass beats and Y2K aesthetic to the Lands End stage.
Sunday, 9th August, provides the festival’s grand finale. The atmospheric electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL will be closing out the weekend, their immersive soundscapes perfectly suited for the park’s natural amphitheatre. Sunday also caters to the millennial heart with a set from DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE, alongside the high-octane hip-hop of BABY KEEM and the theatrical synth-pop of EMPIRE OF THE SUN.

BEYOND THE STAGES
While the music is the heartbeat of Outside Lands, it’s the “Lands” that make it a truly unique experience. Between sets, attendees can wander into Wine Lands, showcasing Northern California’s world-class vineyards, or Beer Lands, featuring a dizzying array of local craft brews. For those looking for a different kind of greenery, Grass Lands returns as the first-of-its-kind curated cannabis experience at a major US festival.
Foodies are also in for a treat with the Taste of the Bay Area, where San Francisco’s most iconic eateries set up shop, ensuring you’re fuelled by far more than just standard festival chips.
TICKET UPDATE: THE FINAL SCRAMBLE

Whether you’re heading in for a single day of Charli XCX-led pop mania or sticking it out for the full three-day marathon, Outside Lands 2026 is proving that Golden Gate Park remains the ultimate destination for those who want their music served with a side of San Francisco magic.
