Tuska festival, taking place at Suvilahti, Helsinki during 27.-29.6.2025 has announced the first bands of the 2025 line up. The first announced headliner is none other than New Jersey’s LORNA SHORE who recently took the metal scene by storm in a manner that is rarely witnessed. The band’s most recent album, “Pain Remains”, was a huge hit all over the world and as soon as the stories about the band’s incredibly intense live performance started to spread, it was clear that the next fixed star in the metal sky had been born.
Other confirmed Tuska 2025 artists are perhaps the world’s most upbeat and danceable metal band ELECTRIC CALLBOY, as well as the German power metal monster POWERWOLF, American NOTHING MORE serving doses of nu-metal flavored hard rock, the Swedish groovy and modern melodic death metal masters ORBIT CULTURE, the Australian alternative music strange bird KIM DRACULA, top name in folk metal KORPIKLAANI, cornerstone of Finnish heavy music MARKO HIETALA, one of the most internationally famed Finnish singers TARJA TURUNEN, CHARLOTTE WESSELS who rose to world fame as the vocalist of Delain, Sweden’s groove/nu/deathcore machine THROWN, French hypnotic pagan viking trance outfit EIHWAR, TIMO RAUTIAINEN & TRIO NISKALAUKAUS playing their classic “Itku pitkästä ilosta” album, Norway’s punk rock/metal squad BLOOD COMMAND, modern melodic metal aces ARION and the scorching hot mustache-metal act TYRANTTI.
