First bands announced For Rockfest Finland 2025!

Rockfest Finland 2025

Rockfest will take place after the gap year in Turku, at Artukainen field and Gatorade Center, from Thursday to Saturday, June 12th – 14th 2025. The new event area enables a daily audience of up to 30,000 people. Finland’s biggest rock festival announces the first batch of its extensive international and domestic program for the upcoming summer.

The festival features the Grammy and Britt Award winning band MUSE dubbed one of the world’s best live bands. The band brings its massive and impressive visual show to Rockfest at the opening gig of its tour. The band’s biggest hits, which have streamed over 7 billion, are Uprising, Supermassive Black Hole, Hysteria and Starlight.

It’s been 10 years since we last performed at festivals in Finland. We can’t wait to see the Finnish audience in the summer festival mood at Rockfest! This will be a memorable concert experience for us too. See you there! – Muse.

Among the most attractive names of the festival is also the cornerstone of heavy metal, JUDAS PRIEST, known for falsetto vocals and leather and studded uniforms, piloted by the iconic Rob Halford. Next year, the band’s classic album Painkiller will be 35 years old, and the concert will focus on the material from that album, without forgetting the band’s other masterpieces.

TILL LINDEMANN, who is starting a solo tour and known as Rammstein’s singer, and Sepultura, the Brazilian thrash metal trendsetter who announced his retirement and will be seen for the last time in Finland at a festival gig, will also take the stage.

The first offers for the Rockfest 2025 software were made a year and a half ago, and the end result is really rewarding. I am very satisfied with our versatile and strong program, which will of course be supplemented with additional titles. Muse is a very big deal in terms of its size and interests music listeners widely, as well as Black Flag, which has never performed in Finland before – Janne Tamminen, promoter

The Ukrainian metalcore band JINJER, the American long-time hardcorepunk legends BLACK FLAG, who are performing in Finland for the first time, and the Swedish DEAD BY APRIL, known for heavy guitar riffs, screaming vocal parts and melodic songs, will join the Rockfest program.

Domestic metal is represented by BATTLE BEAST, who will release a new album next year, and Mokoma, who combines death and thrash metal with poetic lyrics. The German guests, industrial music pioneer DIE KRUPPS and GHØSTKID, who mix metalcore and nu metal, will be seen at Rockfest with the expected big festival gig.

After more than 30 years, MICHAEL MONROE’S legendary band DEMOLITION 23 will rise from mothballs to Rockfest. In addition, the festival’s specialty is the new metal supergroup, CEMETERY SKYLINE, consisting of members of Amorphis, Sentenced, Insomnium, Dimmu Borgir and Dark Tranquility.

The festivals also include the concerts of IMMORTAL DISFIGUREMENT, the ex-soloist of Lorna Shore who represents extreme deathcore, MOON SHOT piloted by Ville Malja, and Finnish-language melodic metal pioneers KILPI, a band from Turku.
