Skive Festival, formerly known as Skive Beach Party, is a prominent Danish music festival held annually during the first weekend of June in Skive, Denmark. Established in 1993 as a one-day event, it has evolved into a multi-day festival, with the 2009 edition marking its final year under the original name. The name change to Skive Festival aimed to position the event as a more serious music festival rather than just a beach party.
The festival takes place at Strandtangen, adjacent to Skive Harbour, offering a unique setting where attendees can enjoy performances with one foot in the water and the other in the sand. The backdrop of Krabbesholm Forest adds to the picturesque environment.
Musically, Skive Festival caters to a diverse audience by featuring a wide range of genres. While it has showcased international acts such as Green Day, Rammstein, The Killers, DJ Tiësto, Linkin Park, and Queens of The Stone Age , the festival also highlights Danish artists, ensuring a blend of global and local talent. The festival’s lineup includes pop, rock, and electronic music, with dedicated stages like Club Stöj for electronic music and ROLINU! for chill-out vibes.
Over the years, Skive Festival has grown in popularity, attracting thousands of attendees each year. Its commitment to diverse musical offerings and unique setting has solidified its reputation as a significant event in Denmark’s music festival scene.

Krabbesholm forest primarily consists of oak, beech, and an extraordinary high number of ash trees. Some of them are over a hundred years old, which is quite unusual.
There are several unmarked walking routes in the forest, as well as several orienteering trails plus three outdoor training stations. It is possible to park at the harbour.
