
Metronome Festival Prague is the first major music festival held in Prague that now invites visitors to its 4th year. Its specifics include focus on all age and genre groups, emphasis on the latest music trends, and the best of the past. The dramaturges pay great attention to choosing domestic performers who usually come with a programme unique to the festival. Besides quality programme addressing a broad audience, the promoters support also visitor comfort represented by quality open air stages and covered stages, enough seats, good choice of food and refreshments, high-capacity wi-fi, and since 2018 also cashless direct debit payment system enabling safe payments, shorter queues, or quicker check-in. This year the festival is ready to increase these standards to a higher level.
Over the years of its existence, Metronome Festival Prague had seen stars such as Iggy Pop, Foals, Sting, Chemical Brothers, Kasabian, Tom Odell, Ella Eyre, David Byrne, John Cale, or Massive Attack. In the past year the festival had over 18,000 visitors. Bands representing Czech music included J.A.R. with the Maranatha gospel choir, Ivan Král with Jiří Suchý, Tata Bojs 30, David Koller with Katarzia, Sexy Dancers comeback, and other artists. In the previous year the festival had over 18,000 visitors.

The Exhibition Grounds with a long tradition and an attractive location near the city centre, in the vicinity of Stromovka Park. They were built for the Jubilee Exhibition in 1891. More than 50 exhibition projects, trade fairs and a wide variety of cultural and entertainment events take place here every year.
