
The independent festival Les Eurockeenes in Eastern France is also one of the largest multi-genre music festivals in the country.
Les Eurockeenes was founded in 1989 on the Malsaucy peninsula near Belfort, the festival has quickly established itself as a not-to-be-missed event for music fans. Every summer, the Eurockéennes attracts tens of thousands of spectators who come to enjoy an eclectic, high-quality program.
Located close to the borders with Germany and Switzerland, the French festival Les Eurockéennes de Belfort is nestled in the peninsula of Malsaucy surrounded by two lakes and a protected natural area, with 4 stages – one of them being on the water, facing the beach! The main stage has a capacity for up to 25,000 festival goers, and the smallest can accommodate 5,000 people. The festival welcomes more than 130,000 festival goers over 4 days.
Internationally recognized, the festival is a non-profit organization fond of promoting civic values close to you, such as solidarity, accessibility and the sense of sharing.

Real gathering and conviviality place with no less than 100,000 visitors a year, the Malsaucy peninsula offers a huge range of activities according to the seasons.
Enjoy the beautiful weather and the 6,000 m² of beach in summer where bathing is supervised from June to August. The younger will be able to enjoy the playground and the older to devote themselves to the activities offered by the outdoor activities centre.
All the year, enjoy the calm of the pedestrian trails to stroll or bring your sportive side out taking the mountain bike trail. These trails are accessible to pedestrians, cyclists and persons with reduced mobility.
From the observatory and the dedicated trail, the song and the beauty of the birds will seduce nature lovers for sure. Devote yourself to fishing on the Véronne pond, a pleasure to share in serenity.
