The first poster for Fajtfest 2027 is here, and the Czech festival is wasting no time setting the tone for its 18th edition.
Taking place at Fajtův kopec in Velké Meziříčí from 1st to 3rd July 2027, the first announcement brings together a seriously heavy mix of industrial metal, hardcore, crossover and everything in between.
At the top of the bill is FEAR FACTORY, who will headline Saturday at Fajtfest. The legendary American industrial metal band are one of the biggest names the festival has announced for 2027, bringing their trademark combination of crushing riffs, mechanical intensity and melodic moments to the hill.
But FEAR FACTORY are far from the only reason to have Fajtfest on your radar.
Also confirmed are DRAIN, the California hardcore band known for turning live shows into complete chaos, while DOWNSET. will bring their distinctive blend of hardcore, punk, metal and rap to the festival.
Germany’s SLOPE are also on the first poster, adding their funk infused crossover sound to the line up, while Denmark’s LIFESICK promise something considerably darker with their combination of metallic hardcore and death metal. Sweden is represented by BITE DOWN, bringing their aggressive metalcore sound to the Czech Republic.
Rounding out the first announcement is LOCKED SHUT, the American hardcore band from Missouri who have been attracting attention with their fast, heavy and direct approach.
And if that sounds like a lot for a first poster, Fajtfest is making it clear that this is only the beginning.

Fajtfest 2027 will take place at Fajtův kopec in Velké Meziříčí, Czech Republic, with the festival currently promoted for 1st to 3rd July 2027. The event is built around a deliberately close and communal festival experience rather than huge, impersonal festival grounds, with the organisers positioning it as a place where fans can get close to the bands and each other.

With FEAR FACTORY already confirmed as the Saturday headliner, the first announcement suggests Fajtfest 2027 is going to be another particularly heavy weekend in the Czech Republic. More bands are expected to be announced as the festival builds towards next summer.
