Hot news to warm you up in this cold week: EDITORS is the first headliner of Suikerrock 2026! On Saturday, August 8th, the iconic British band will come to the Sugar City for the first time to live up to its legendary live reputation.
EDITORS and Belgium? It’s a never-ending love story. Since their breakthrough in 2005, they’ve been a fixture on our biggest stages: from iconic headliners at Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop to sold-out shows at the AFAS Dome (yes, we’re still getting used to that new name for the Sportpaleis…). Their stint at The Barn at Werchter in 2023 caused one of the biggest migrations ever – and now they finally get to shine at Suikerrock.
The EDITORS recipe? A charismatic Tom Smith, a driven band, an explosive set packed with global hits, from “Papillon” and “Bones” to “An End Has A Start” and the legendary “No Sound But The Wind.” And who knows… maybe even a preview of their long-awaited eighth album, which the band has already mysteriously hinted at on social media. One thing is certain: Editors will rock Suikerrock to its foundations!
Sugerrock 2026 takes place from Friday, August 7th to Sunday, August 9th, on the grounds of the Tiense Suikerraffinaderij in Tienen.
