The long-running Ruisrock festival will be held for the 54th time in just over two months. Ten new artists have been confirmed for Ruisrock 2025, including top Finnish names and popular international favourites.
This summer, American metal band DEFTONES will captivate the festival crowd in Ruissalo with their beautifully ethereal and crushingly heavy music. Foreign rock music has long been requested to be added to the Ruisrock lineup – and now this wish has been granted.
Also taking the stage at Ruisrock in July are hugely popular rapper LIL TECCA, one of the most successful artists of the modern SoundCloud generation, and dynamic DJ duo DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE, known for their memorable festival hits and explosive live energy.
Bringing Finnish heavy metal energy to Ruisrock are SARA, celebrating their 30th anniversary, LÄHIÖBOTOX, combining heavy metal riffs with rap, and LUNA KILLS, a fresh newcomer in modern metal that has quickly risen to international prominence. Serving up a combination of emotional melodies and joyful dancing in Ruissalo is JOALIN, whose music blends Latin influences from Mexico with melancholy stemming from her Nordic roots.
Another addition to the Ruisrock lineup is rapper SLIKI, known as a powerful live performer who offers an intriguing alternative to mainstream rap. Praised for her emotionally charged music and honest storytelling, SARA SIIPOLA will also take to the stage. The roster of Finnish newcomers is further enriched by LOUNA0NLINE, who combines modern rap, hyperpop and hazy soundscapes in experimental ways and will also be performing some of her unreleased music in Ruissalo this July.
In addition to the new artist announcements, it is also announced that AXWELL’S performance is rescheduled from Saturday, July 5th to Sunday, July 6th due to scheduling reasons. Known for its magical atmosphere, Ruisrock will be celebrated 4–6 July 2025 in the seaside setting of Ruissalo in Turku.
