Moving seamlessly between the underground and mainstream, over the past decade CHARLI XCX has gained critical acclaim for her innovative style and her innovative approach to music has transformed pop culture. In June, the artist released her sixth studio album “BRAT”, which became the most appreciated album of this year and took first place in sales, among others. in the UK, reaching the Top 10 in nearly 20 countries.
The album was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize and as many as 7 nominations for the upcoming Grammy Awards. It has also entered the global consciousness in a decisive and unquestionable way, as confirmed by the official recognition of “brat” as the word of the year by the Collins English Dictionary. Charli’s bold campaign sent her into traffic paralysis around the world with her “PARTYGIRL” DJ performances, took the internet by storm with viral videos and surprising collaborations with artists such as Billie Eilish, Lorde, Troye Sivan, Addison Rae, Robyn, Yung Lean, Julia Fox, Chloë Sevigny and Rachel Sennott, and introduced a new shade of green to the global lexicon social.
In October, Charli xcx released “Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat” – a brand new version of the album that includes reinterpretations and innovative remakes of songs from “BRAT” featuring artists such as Julian Casablancas, Bon Iver, The 1975, Shygirl, Ariana Grande, Caroline Polachek and many others.
