Avenged Sevenfold play Provinssi Festival 2055 in Finland

AVENGED SEVENFOLD, one of the world’s most popular metal bands, has just confirmed its appearance at Provinssi, which will take place from June 26–28, 2025, at Törnävänsaari in Seinäjoki. The festival’s international lineup, already packed with big names, now also includes the Grammy-nominated KNOCKED LOOSE, known for their powerful blend of metalcore and hardcore. This diverse and timely musical offering will be further expanded with numerous additional acts to be announced throughout the year.

Currently celebrating their 25th anniversary, AVENGED SEVENFOLD has shaped the direction of modern metal with their innovative sound. With over 12 million albums sold and more than a billion streams and views across digital platforms, this California-based band has cemented its place among the most respected names in heavy music, playing sold-out arenas and headlining major festivals worldwide. Known for their versatility and surprising artistic choices, the band’s latest, eighth studio album, Life Is But A Dream…, expands the boundaries of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal, blending epic progressive metal with captivating melodies. Known for their uncompromising attitude and intense, visually striking live shows, A7X last graced the main stage at a sold-out Provinssi in 2011.

Making their first-ever appearance in Finland, KNOCKED LOOSE initially caught the hardcore community’s attention with their 2016 debut Laugh Tracks. Its follow-up, A Different Shade of Blue (2019), propelled the band into wider recognition. Their third album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, was released in April of this year, drawing high praise from critics and fans worldwide and solidifying the Kentucky-based quintet, formed in 2013, as one of the top names in their genre. Known for their relentless energy and unforgettable live presence, KNOCKED LOOSE has earned a spot among the best live acts of the moment. Unafraid to delve into heavy themes such as social injustice and mental health, the band recently received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance with their song Suffocate (featuring Poppy).
