Pretty But Wicked and American Death Records today announce the third annual ‘And Always Forever Festival,’ set to take place across November 6th – 8th at The Echo and Echoplex in Echo Park, California. Opening night kicks off on Friday, November 6 with special performances by THE AMERICAN ANALOG SET and DUTCH INTERIOR, followed by the two-day festival on November 7-8.
Since its inception, the Los Angeles-based, all-ages festival has quickly established itself as one of the city’s most vital underground gatherings—a community-driven sanctuary connecting artists and audiences across generations and genres. Each year, And Always Forever assembles a constellation of emerging voices, cult favorites, and foundational artists, tracing unexpected lines between electronic, indie, rap, shoegaze, dream-pop, and experimental music. The result is a space where discovery feels organic, where generations meet on common ground, and where music’s past, present, and future coexist for a weekend.
Highlights include acclaimed indie stalwarts THE AMERICAN ANALOG SET and CARISSA’S WEIRD, alongside celebrated contemporary artists JAMES K, SASSY009 and SOPHIA STEL, plus a host of rising voices from across the experimental music landscape.
And Always Forever started from a desire to build the kind of space we wanted to experience ourselves—one where genre boundaries don’t matter and where artists at every stage of their journey can connect with people who genuinely care about what they’re creating. Seeing so many artists from previous lineups go on to have incredible breakthrough years has been one of the most rewarding parts of building this festival. Building upon the momentum of its previous editions, And Always Forever returns following a landmark 2025 festival that reinforced its place within the independent and underground music landscape. Last year’s event featured breakout acts ear, Bassvictim, deer park, Evanora Unlimited, and After, alongside a rare reunion performance from Locust, who played their first show since the 1990s, as well as acclaimed cult favorites Drop Nineteens, Martin Rev, His Name is Alive, and ee, which features members of koreagirl. The lineup reflected the festival’s distinctive curatorial approach: identifying emerging artists on the verge of wider recognition while also spotlighting influential cult and legacy acts whose work continues to find new audiences through contemporary channels of discovery. By pairing emerging talent with rare appearances from revered artists, the festival’s founders underscore a core belief that truly influential music never loses its relevance, and that audiences remain eager to engage with artists whose work continues to inspire generations of musicians and fans.
