Country royalty is heading to Albuquerque as Boots in the Park unveils three days of superstar performances, modern country favourites and legendary hits. And with George Strait making a rare festival appearance, this is one announcement country fans won’t want to miss.
If you’re planning your country music calendar for 2027, make room for Albuquerque. Boots in the Park is returning to Balloon Fiesta Park from 14th to 16th May, and the newly announced line-up brings together some of the biggest names in country music across three days.
Leading the charge is GEORGE STRAIT, the undisputed King of Country, whose appearance is being billed as his only festival performance of 2027. With a career spanning more than four decades, a catalogue of timeless country hits and a reputation that few artists can match, Strait’s appearance alone makes this a major date for fans.
But the festival isn’t stopping there. JASON ALDEAN, BROOKS & DUNN, ZACH TOP, JON PARDI and DWIGHT YOAKAM are also on the bill, bringing together country legends, stadium-sized anthems and a new generation keeping the genre moving forward.
THREE DAYS. THREE VERY DIFFERENT COUNTRY EXPERIENCES.
Friday 14th May kicks things off with ZACH TOP, joined by SAM BARBER, AVERY ANNA, BRAXTON KEITH, CARTER FAITH and DRAKE MILLIGAN. It’s a strong opening day, mixing traditional country influences with the newer voices making waves across the scene.
Saturday 15th May turns up the energy with JASON ALDEAN at the top of the bill. JON PARDI, CAMERON WHITCOMB, ZACH JOHN KING, JOHN MORGAN and IAN HARRISON will also perform, setting the stage for a day packed with big choruses, guitar-driven country and crowd-pleasing favourites.
Then comes Sunday, and a seriously heavyweight finish. GEORGE STRAIT headlines alongside BROOKS & DUNN and DWIGHT YOAKAM, with COREY KENT and ASHLEY MONROE also joining the closing-day line-up. For fans who grew up with classic country, this is the kind of bill that could turn the final day into a singalong from start to finish.
COUNTRY MUSIC’S PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
What makes this line-up stand out is the way it connects different generations of country music. Strait, Brooks & Dunn and Yoakam represent artists whose songs have become part of the genre’s fabric. Aldean and Pardi bring a harder-edged, modern country sound, while performers such as Zach Top and Sam Barber reflect the new wave finding audiences well beyond traditional country circles.
The result is a festival with plenty of variety without losing sight of what brings everyone together: great songs, big performances and a crowd ready to sing every word.
Boots in the Park will take over Albuquerque’s Balloon Fiesta Park from 14th to 16th May 2027, with tickets on sale now through the official festival website.
With George Strait at the top of the bill and a line-up spanning generations of country music, Albuquerque is set for a big weekend of boots, guitars and unforgettable choruses.
