A giant red planet, a skull-strewn universe and a line-up built for full-volume rock ‘n’ roll. Hard Rock Hell is heading back into the darkness, and the first wave of names promises a November packed with riffs, attitude and late-night mayhem.
Hard Rock Hell has never been a festival for the faint-hearted, and the first announcement for its 2027 edition makes that perfectly clear. BUCKCHERRY lead the charge, joined by Swedish hard rock veterans HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, rockers MILLION and THE DITS, with a formidable supporting cast ready to turn Camp HRH into a haven for loud guitars and unapologetic rock.
Taking place from 3rd – 7th November 2027, the festival’s latest poster goes full cosmic apocalypse, with a vast, blood-red planet looming over a skull-faced landscape. It is an appropriately dramatic backdrop for an event that has built its identity around bringing rock fans together for an intense, multi-day celebration of the music they love.
BUCKCHERRY LEAD THE ROCK ‘N’ ROLL ASSAULT
Few bands know how to deliver hard rock with quite the same swagger as BUCKCHERRY. The American outfit have spent decades combining sleazy riffs, infectious hooks and a live-show attitude that belongs in a room full of raised fists and voices singing back every word. Their arrival gives the 2027 bill a major draw, with the promise of a set built for maximum volume and zero restraint.
Swedish rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR bring their own distinctive blend of street-level attitude, melodic hooks and high-energy hard rock. They have long made a virtue of keeping things direct and explosive, making them a natural fit for the Hard Rock Hell crowd.
MILLION add another name to the heavier end of the rock spectrum, while THE DITS help round out a top line that already offers plenty of reasons to start planning the trip to the south coast.
A DEEP UNDERCARD WITH PLENTY TO DISCOVER
The supporting line-up is where things get particularly interesting. BURNING FIELDZ FEATURING CHIP Z’NUFF join the bill alongside BAREKNUCKLE ASYLUM, ALABAMA CROW, WHITE SKIES and FUGITIVE, creating a broad selection of rock sounds across the festival.
There is plenty more to explore, too. OCTOPUSS, DEAD REYNOLDS, THE SOUL REVIVAL and 4FOXSake feature alongside WE THREE KINGS, TO NOWHERE and ROXY N THE LOCKHEARTS. WHITE TYGER, JAMES KENNEDY and THE UNDERDOGS, ELECTRON and THE PAUL AUSTIN BAND add further variety, while GONE SAVAGE, ROCKABYE REAPER, LONG TALL SHADOWS, FALLEN NORTH, BENEATH EDEN and NOTHING IN RETURN complete an expansive first announcement.
For festival-goers, that breadth is part of the appeal. Alongside the bigger names, Hard Rock Hell gives fans the opportunity to catch bands they may not yet know, discover new favourites and spend several days immersed in a scene that thrives on community as much as volume.
FIVE DAYS OF ROCK AT CAMP HRH
Hard Rock Hell returns to Camp HRH in Chichester from 3rd – 7th November 2027, bringing five days of rock to the south coast. The latest poster also promises more acts to come, so this first announcement is only part of the story.
With BUCKCHERRY and HARDCORE SUPERSTAR leading a bill that reaches well beyond the headliners, the festival is shaping up as another gathering for those who like their rock loud, their guitars turned up and their November plans decidedly heavier.
