ZACH TOP is heading to Myrtle Beach.
The Washington-born singer, songwriter and musician has been announced as the third headliner for Carolina Country Music Fest 2027, joining previously announced headliners FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE and CODY JOHNSON for the four-day festival on the shores of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
CCMF 2027 takes place from 10th to 13th June 2027, with more than 40 artists expected across five stages.
And if you have been wondering who is carrying the torch for straight-up, traditional country music in the current generation, Zach Top is making a pretty convincing case.
THE FASTEST RISING STAR IN COUNTRY MUSIC
Top’s rise has been anything but ordinary! His breakthrough came with his 2024 debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, which has now passed one billion streams. His follow-up, Ain’t In It For My Health, has pushed things even further, debuting with more than 30 million global streams in its first week.
Then came the awards.
Zach Top was named New Artist of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards and New Male Artist of the Year at the 2025 ACM Awards. He has since added a major Grammy win for Best Traditional Country Album, making him the inaugural winner of that category.
Not bad for an artist whose music sounds deliberately rooted in an earlier era of country.
COUNTRY MUSIC WITHOUT THE GLOSS
That is arguably what makes ZACH TOP such an interesting booking for CCMF. While modern country continues to stretch in every possible direction, Top has embraced the sounds that came before him. Classic songwriting, steel guitar, honky tonk swagger and melodies that sound like they have been sitting in a jukebox for decades.
But there is nothing particularly old fashioned about the way audiences are responding.
His breakthrough single “I Never Lie” became his first number one at country radio, while his growing reputation as a live performer has helped turn him into one of the most talked-about young names in Nashville.
And that makes a beach festival setting in Myrtle Beach seem like a pretty perfect fit.
CCMF 2027 IS GETTING INTERESTING

Because if his rise continues at its current pace, the next time Zach Top comes to Myrtle Beach, he may not be the new kid on the bill.
