Lollapalooza South America 2027: Travis Scott, Charli XCX, The Killers & The Prodigy Lead Huge Line Up!

Lollapalooza South America 2027 news

Lollapalooza is heading back to South America in 2027 with a line up that brings together global superstars, alternative rock favourites, electronic heavyweights and some of the most exciting names in modern pop. TRAVIS SCOTT, CHARLI XCX, THE KILLERS, DAVID GUETTA, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and THE NEIGHBOURHOOD will headline the three editions in Chile, Argentina and Brazil, with tickets already on sale.

The announcements cover three major festival weekends across March, turning South America into a destination for music fans looking for everything from enormous rap and pop productions to guitar driven indie and late night dance music.

Travis Scott brings his stadium sized hip hop show to a bill that also features CHARLI XCX, whose boundary pushing pop has become a defining sound of recent years. THE KILLERS add their catalogue of festival anthems, while DAVID GUETTA provides the electronic firepower. QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE bring a heavier edge, and THE NEIGHBOURHOOD round out a headline selection that stretches across several generations of alternative and mainstream music.

But the supporting line up is where things get particularly interesting. THE PRODIGY will bring their famously intense live show to the festival circuit, while FONTAINES D.C. continue their rise as one of the most important guitar bands of their generation. CAGE THE ELEPHANT, GEESE and DOMINIC FIKE add further variety, with RAWAYANA, SOMBR, MALCOLM TODD, FOUR TET, RAYE, SLAYYYTER, LOLA YOUNG and LEON BRIDGES among the other artists confirmed.

It is a bill that moves comfortably between genres rather than sticking to one particular sound. Fans can expect everything from club focused electronic sets and contemporary R&B to indie rock, alternative music and chart ready pop, making the three festivals appealing to audiences with very different tastes.

SOUTH AMERICAN DEBUTS ADD ANOTHER REASON TO GO
One of the biggest talking points for 2027 is the number of artists set to make their South American festival debuts. SOMBR, FONTAINES D.C., DOMINIC FIKE, GEESE, MALCOLM TODD, ANGINE DE POITRINE, ADÉLA, JULIA WOLF, NINAJIRACHI, THE AVALANCHES, DIE SPITZ and VIOLET GROHL are all highlighted among the first timers.

For local fans, that means the opportunity to catch artists who have been building international audiences without necessarily having toured the region extensively. It also gives the festivals a chance to introduce new sounds to crowds who might otherwise discover these acts through streaming services or social media.

The inclusion of THE AVALANCHES is particularly appealing for electronic music fans, while the arrival of GEESE and FONTAINES D.C. should interest anyone following the current resurgence of guitar music. With emerging artists sharing the bill with established headliners, the festivals are offering more than just a collection of familiar names.

THREE FESTIVALS, THREE HUGE WEEKENDS
Lollapalooza Chile will take place from 12th to 14th March 2027 at Parque O’Higgins in Santiago. The same weekend, Lollapalooza Argentina returns to the Hippodrome of San Isidro in Buenos Aires, giving fans across the region a choice of two major events on the same dates.

Lollapalooza Brasil follows from 19th to 21st March at the Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo. The 2027 edition will mark the festival’s 15th anniversary in Brazil, adding another milestone to its history in one of South America’s biggest music markets.

With three festivals sharing a major international line up, the March dates are shaping up to be a busy period for touring artists and travelling music fans alike.

With TRAVIS SCOTT, CHARLI XCX, THE KILLERS, DAVID GUETTA, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and THE NEIGHBOURHOOD at the top of the bill, alongside THE PRODIGY and a strong collection of rising talent, Lollapalooza has given fans plenty to talk about ahead of 2027.

Which line up would you choose: Chile, Argentina or Brazil? And with so many different genres represented, which artist would be your number one reason to go?
