Rock Werchter has added another name to its 2027 line up, with SOMBR set to bring his fast rising pop sound to one of Belgium’s biggest festival stages next summer. The New York singer will perform on the Main Stage on Sunday 4 July, joining a growing list of artists confirmed for the four day event.
SOMBR has wasted little time making his mark on the international music scene. Tracks such as back to friends, undressed, 12 to 12 and my body isn’t ready have helped turn him into one of pop’s most talked about new names, attracting listeners well beyond his hometown.
There is more to his appeal than streaming numbers, though. SOMBR has also been making an impression on stage, building a reputation as an artist worth catching live. With his popularity continuing to grow, his appearance at Rock Werchter looks set to be another important moment in his rapid rise.
For festivalgoers, Sunday is already shaping up to be an interesting day. SOMBR joins Tame Impala, who have previously been announced as the act closing the festival that evening. The combination gives fans another reason to keep an eye on how the final day develops as more names are added to the bill.
Rock Werchter 2027 will take place from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th July at Festivalpark in Werchter, Belgium. Tickets go on sale on Friday 30 October at 10am, with further artist announcements expected in the coming weeks.
SOMBR’s arrival is another sign that Rock Werchter is looking to bring some of the most exciting names in contemporary music to its stages. With plenty of the line up still to be revealed, there is more than enough reason for fans to stay tuned.
Will SOMBR be one of your must see acts at Rock Werchter 2027, or are you waiting to see who else joins the bill?
