The Lucca concert will mark a new chapter in the band’s career, following the release of The Wow! Signal, their tenth studio album, released in June 2026 and debuting at Number 1 on the UK Albums Chart.
With their latest work, MUSE add another chapter to a musical journey that began in 1994, continuing their exploration of new sonic territories by blending rock, electronic and progressive influences while retaining the epic dimension that has made their sound instantly recognisable.
Over more than three decades, MUSE have sold more than 30 million records worldwide and received some of the most prestigious international accolades, including two Grammy Awards, two BRIT Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, an American Music Award, eleven NME Awards and seven Q Awards.
Adding to the significance of their Lucca debut will be the setting itself. For the first time, MUSE will perform in the extraordinary Historic City Walls Area of Lucca, with the city’s Renaissance walls providing a breathtaking backdrop.
Muse’s arrival will be one of the highlights of the 30th anniversary edition of Lucca Summer Festival, a special edition that will take place entirely within the Historic City Walls Area.
Muse are the third act announced for the 2027 line-up, following TAKE THAT, performing in Lucca on 20th July, and SIMPLY RED, who will take the stage on 30th July.
