Echelon Festival 2026

BORIS BREJCHA, CHARLOTTE DE WITTE, HOLY PRIEST, KLANGKUENSTLER and PAUL VAN DYK are just some of the outstanding Echelon Festival line-up, which this year once again unites international giants of electronic music.

On August 14th and 15th 2026, the Echelon Festival returns to the grounds of the former US barracks in Bad Aibling. For the 16th time, the historic location will become the centre of one of the largest electronic music festivals in Southern Germany, transforming the “Forbidden Grounds” once again into a place full of energy, sound, and community. Over 50 percent of the tickets have already been sold.

Full Line-up Released: Five Stages Offering Maximum Musical Diversity:

On Sunday, the festival announced its complete line-up. With a total of seven stages, the Echelon Festival 2026 covers an extraordinary range of electronic music – from techno and harder styles to drum & bass, tech house, and melodic sounds. This year’s focus is on international and national artists from the scene: With CHARLOTTE DE WITTE, the Echelon Festival brings one of the world’s most sought-after techno acts to Bad Aibling. BORIS BREJCHA is known for his unmistakable high-tech minimal sound and has been a fixture on major stages both at home and abroad for years. PAUL VAN DYK, one of Germany’s most important trance pioneers, is also part of the program. KLANGKUENSTLER will provide modern, fast techno, while Holy Priest represents the current generation of hard techno.

New Stage Concepts: Frequency & Harder Styles

In 2026, Echelon is focusing more on refining the content of individual stages. Among the new features is the reorientation of the Frequency Stage, which on Friday will be entirely dedicated to Drum & Bass: a clear commitment to a genre that has gained enormous popularity in recent years. Also new is the Harder Styles Stage on Saturday. Here, fans of Hardstyle, Uptempo, and related subgenres like “Deutscher Krach” (German Noise) will find plenty to enjoy. In 2026, the Radom Stage will become a platform for newcomers and Tech House. With this, the festival is consciously putting up-and-coming talent in the spotlight.

Starting in May, the official Echelon DJ Contest will also launch. Young DJs will have the opportunity to secure a slot on one of the stages and become part of the “Forbidden Grounds.” More information will follow in the coming weeks via the Echelon Instagram channel.

Strong Demand Despite Last Year’s Challenges

Last year, the festival had to cancel one day of events due to severe weather. As a sign of responsibility and fairness, the organizer, Permanent Entertainment, offered ticket exchanges for all affected guests. The community’s response and confidence in the event remain strong: Echelon Festival 2026 is already experiencing high ticket demand. “The break on Saturday in 2025 noticeably increased the anticipation for 2026. The support from our community was exceptional. This support enabled us to put together a lineup and production that are stronger than ever before.
