LILY ALLEN is coming to Oya Festival in Tøyenparken with her new show, based on last year’s critically acclaimed and much talked about album. Before that, she will take West End Girl on tour in large parts of Europe and the USA.
Saturday already features highlights such as DAGNY, UNDERWORLD, RAVYN LENAE, DIJON, CMAT, MARIT LARSEN and VALKYRIEN ALLSTARS.
LILY ALLEN had her breakthrough in 2006, with a string of strong singles and the album Alright, Still. In a short time, she became one of Britain’s biggest stars. Three years later, she matched the success with It’s Not Me, It’s You. In addition to several bestsellers on her own, she has collaborated with Mark Ronson, Stormzy, Pink and several others. She is a great inspiration for the generation of British pop artists who have broken through in recent years.
In 2025, Allen sounds newly alive in the contradictions we loved her for: acid-tongued and soft-hearted, ironic and sincere, broken again but alright, still – The Independent
She deservedly received a lot of attention for her strong album West End Girl last year, which came after a seven-year hiatus. Now she will perform it in its entirety at the Amphitheatre. The new and more theatrical show is characterised by Allen’s work as an actor in recent years. The Guardian, The Independent, DIY, Fader, Popmatters, The Skinny and The Sunday Times are some of the media that considered West End Girl to be one of last year’s very best releases.
