Festival organisers are proud to announce that LENNY KRAVITZ, VOLBEAT and MOBY will be the three headliners for Bospop 2026.
ZZ TOP, ANOUK, COUNTING CROWS, WITHIN TEMPTATION, KAISER CHIEFS, OMD, CHRIS ISAAK, KENSINGTON, AIRBOURNE, STEEL PANTHER and PALAYE ROYALE will also be heading to Weert the second weekend of July, as will CLOUSEAU, FLOOR JANSEN, RAZORLIGHT, BIOHAZARD, TRIGGERFINGER, FANTASTIC NEGRITO, THE RUMJACKS, and THE FATAL FLOWERS.
With 39 acts, the lineup is almost complete for the annual festival, which will take place on Friday, July 10th, Saturday, July 11th, and Sunday, July 12th at the Weert Noord Event Area in 2026.
American musician, producer, actor, and photographer LENNY KRAVITZ broke through in 1989 with his single “Let Love Rule” and has since become known as one of the most iconic rock stars of the ’90s. This era saw hits like “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over,” “Fly Away,” “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” and “Again.” His unique sound combines 70s soul and psychedelic hard rock with heavy riffs and a voice everyone recognises. Lenny Kravitz is still renowned for his incredibly tight, energetic rock shows: just try standing still while listening to them. His latest album, “Blue Electric Light,” is once again bringing him to the biggest stages in the world, including Bospop!
MOBY, born Richard Melville Hall in Harlem in 1965, earned his nickname from his family connection to writer Herman Melville. He began playing classical music at a young age and found his musical identity in the New York punk and underground scene of the 1980s. His breakthrough came in 1991 with the single “Go,” named by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest tracks of all time. Since then, he has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. In addition to his own work, Moby has produced and remixed music for artists including David Bowie, Public Enemy, Ozzy Osbourne, and Daft Punk. With his company Little Walnut, he has produced award-winning documentaries such as Moby Doc and Punk Rock Vegan Movie, and is working on the feature film Tecie (expected in 2026).
VOLBEAT is also coming to Bospop! The Danish rock band, founded in 2001, plays a mix of heavy metal, rockabilly, and hard rock. With eight studio albums (and counting!), Volbeat has been a dominant force in the rock and heavy metal scene for years. Catchy melodies backed by thunderous metal riffs give this band its unique and innovative sound. Whether you call it “Elvis metal” or “Johnny Cash on steroids,” one thing is certain: you simply have to experience a Volbeat show. It’s no wonder the band is so popular in the Netherlands: in recent years, they’ve already rocked the Ziggo Dome, Rotterdam Ahoy, and GelreDome. It’s high time for a blistering debut in Weert.
