YUNGBLUD is coming to Rock Werchter. He will take the place of KINGS OF LEON, who had to cancel their appearance at Rock Werchter earlier this week. The four-piece band won’t be able to perform until the end of July due to a serious injury to frontman Caleb Followill.
Festival programmers immediately began the search for a replacement and they found it in the form of an energetic British punk rocker: YUNGBLUD will take the Main Stage on 5th July!
The young Brit is starting a bold new chapter with ‘IDOLS’, his fresh fourth album, which will be released just days before Rock Werchter 2025. Dominic Harrison thus reaffirms his role as the megaphone for his generation. Songs like “I think I’m OKAY” (with Travis Barker), “Parents,” and “Acting like that” (with Machine Gun Kelly) have become anthems for Gen Z. They’re made up of raw energy, rebellious rock, and thought-provoking poetry. No one tries harder than YUNGBLUD to get his audience to connect with his musical story. It’s in his genes. His grandfather and father ran a legendary guitar shop for decades, which Noel Gallagher (Oasis) once called “Aladdin’s cave.”
