It’s time to embrace the darkness and shake the pews of Leeuwarden, because POWERWOLF is closing Into The Grave! Who doesn’t know them by now? The wolves already performed in Leeuwarden once in 2019 and are now returning to shake Into The Grave to its foundations during their Summer of the Wicked tour!
POWERWOLF takes you into their world of dark hymns and energetic metal. Atilla, the high priest of heavy metal, leads the pack with his great voice and lots of humour in the ‘holy’ heavy metal mass. “Metal is religion” is their motto. We all believe in that!
The line-up of Into The Grave is also strengthened with 11 names that offer everything the metal heart desires!
We start with the last headliner SAVATAGE, who have finally been back on Dutch soil since 2001. They have been known for their unique combination of heavy metal and progressive elements since the 80s. With hits like “Hall of the Mountain King” and “Edge of Thorns” they have left a lasting mark on the metal world.
You can also see uncompromising death metal from VADER, who will play the entire album Litany. Even more death metal from BLOOD RED THRONE, while PRO-PAIN guarantees a raw dose of hardcore and fFor fans of folk metal there is ELVENKING.
BRAT brings a remarkable mix of deathgrind and hardcore and the energetic live act of RISE OF THE NORTH STAR combines hardcore with unique Japanese influences. New talent like TAILGUNNER and VILT add fresh energy, while local bands BONERIPPER and BILDTSTAR show that Friesland can also flex its muscles on home soil.
