4ESydney, is thrilled to unveil the final lineup and program for its 10th-anniversary festival, taking place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, in Blacktown’s Main Street and Warrick Lane Precinct.
Leading this announcement is Naarm-based, third-culture kid (Filipino/Wiradjuri), ARIA-nominated musician and songwriter MO’JU, whose impactful storytelling has gained them increasing recognition, who joins an already stacked lineup including 1300, JAMAICA MOANA, B WISE, THAT GURL BELLA, LARA ANDALLO and more.
Joining the stage with MO’JU is none other than 16-year-old HipHop prodigy, LEE., hailed as a future superstar by the triple j Unearthed team and industry professionals alike, as well as, MISANTHROPIK who brings raw authenticity and the grit of Western Sydney HipHop to the stage, sharing how music helped him overcome the challenges of living with cerebral palsy.
This year’s lineup features the next generation of artists alongside iconic names. As we mark our 10th anniversary, expect an unforgettable day of high-energy performances, great vibes, and a true sense of community, capturing the essence of what 4ESydney stands for – Vyvienne Abla, Festival Director
The Conscious Live showcase will highlight emerging talent with performances from artists RUU, ANNELISE and GEMMA YLANA – all part of the Conscious program led by L-FRESH The LION and Campbelltown Arts Centre, supporting the vibrant HipHop community of Western Sydney.
In addition to the stellar music lineup, 4ESydney will offer a diverse array of activities showcasing dance, graffiti, DJs and community. A world-class DJ lineup, featuring DJ NAIKI from Japan, will be holding it down during the dance battles throughout the day. DJ NAIKI, a key member of the Chiefrockers crew, brings over 30 years of experience to the festival, with a style that spans from old-school HipHop to contemporary hits.
The Skratchers DJ crew will be spinning beats all day, featuring DJ CLEAR CUT (NSW’s No.1 2024 DMC DJ Champion), DJ D, DJ HARU and DJ WHO. Together, they’ll create a dynamic, crowd-pleasing soundtrack, while also bringing the art of turntablism to life.
YO•SHI, who will take to the mainstage, is a proud non-binary, Korean-Australian multi-disciplinary artist who has been turning heads in the Sydney music scene with their impressive contributions to music, film, and DJing in just their first year.
Dance lovers can look forward to high-energy dance battles and showcases, hosted by MC SAB and BENJI B, featuring some of the best HipHop dancers in the scene. Leading the charge will be B-BOY CIELO, the 2024 Sydney Red Bull BC One Cypher champion from Melbourne, who will represent Australia at the World Final in Rio de Janeiro later this year. CIELO, known for his versatility, will be joined by local favourites including HARRY HYBRID, HAZ MONEY, GERARD ‘KID TEK’ CABELLON, JASHA and JAYHECTIC.
A massive live graffiti wall, will feature artists such as MISTERY, SWEETY, ABSURD, DAYSONE, EMORS, JASY, KADE, KIDM, RIOTS, ROME, SKAE, SOFAR and more. This visual spectacle will bring the streets of Blacktown to life, offering a glimpse into the vibrant, creative essence of HipHop culture.
Families will have plenty to enjoy throughout the day, with activities including a 1964 Chevrolet Impala car exhibition, a key symbol of HipHop culture, and interactive activities like chalk drawing on the streets of Blacktown and the Red Rattler Installation led by Absurd and Tuki.
